Zambian Judiciary Delegation Meets the Principal Judge

The Principal Judge, Dr Flavian Zeija, earlier met the Zambian delegation that is currently on a benchmarking visit to the Uganda Judiciary.
The delegation was led by the judge-in-charge of the Central Province, Hon. Mr. Justice Kelvin Limbani. Ms. Njavwa M. Mupunda (Assistant Senior Research Advocate), Mr. Patrick Malawa (Procurement and Supplies Officer), Hon. Annie N. Chisanga (Registrar High Court-Commercial Division), and Mr. Mambwe Mondwa (Webmaster).
Hon. Mr. Justice Limbani, is also a Member of the Zambian Judiciary ICT Committee noted that the purpose of the visit was meet and greet, as well as have a one-on-one interaction with the Principal Judge as they continue with their benchmarking and post performance assessment of the Case Management System in the Ugandan Judiciary.
He noted that the intention of coming to Uganda is to benchmark by learning from and interacting with the Ugandan Judiciary that is already implementing an online case management system.
Justice Limbani appreciated the Ugandan Judiciary team for receiving and taking care of them well.
The Principal Judge urged the Zambian team to explore more. "It is good to benchmark because if you don't, you will never know you lack anything", he said.
He urged them to look around and notice all things that are done differently for them to be able to apply those they deem useful to their system.
Additionally present at the meeting were; HW Julius Mwesigye, the Principal Judge's Personal Assistant; Mr. Kikabi David Sunday, the Principal Information Technology Officer; Mr. Joseph Ssinabulya, the Principal Information Management Officer; Ms. Julian Rweju, the ECCMIS Technical Advisor; and Ms. Marion Mpanga, the Systems Administrator.
